Jack Johnson – To The Sea
Generic record review: To The Sea is the latest from groovy laid back folksy singer songwriter Jack Johnson. It is another record in the same vein as all others. Yes, I am generalizing because I have attempted his records time and time again, to no avail, this one no different. If you’re a fan, you will buy it. If not, you already don’t care.

Good Old War – Good Old War
The Pennsylvania trio Good Old War is somewhat akin to The Avett Brothers, although a bit on the poppier side. The self-titled second full length release from the former prog-rockers Days Away, Good Old War max’s out at a little long-winded 15 tracks, mixing a blend of roots, Americana and indie influences.

Tift Merritt – See You On The Moon
You never really know what to expect from Tift Merritt. The NC based singer/songwriter also is able to count Elvis Costello, Ryan Adams, and Emmylou Harris among fans and peers. Aside from her career in music, Merritt is an artist and even produces her own radio show (The Spark), centering on the creative process behind great works of art.
Standout tracks include “Danny’s Song”, “Engine To Turn”, and the Jim James collaboration, “Feel of the World”.
